Lockdown

When the bad luck day came to be

The clouds with darkness cover the skies

It was a bad feeling that  day I cannot harvest my labor.

When the paper was not process

My world turn upside down

When nothing left in your wallet

Only angry and sorrow appear in you

I pray to God, he will bless me that day

A good friend leads her helping hand

Even her whole family was suffering

From a virus of imagination

The day full of a bad experience

laying down in my body of negativity

I feel evil and savage heart

My naked soul and confuse heart bring me to wonder

Thinking of ending my life to end my agony

When a woman with a map in her face

Slow doing her job, and I can only think of bad things

I want to slap on her face a million times

I lost hope and take a day to day as a challenge

The lockdown made me so sad and lonely

I lost a man who knows me and cares for me

I will be missing  you eternally

Til we meet again in a perfect time

′′ This coffee is cooler than tubâ: ( Tanjayanon Literary )

′′ This coffee is cooler than tubâ:
I just realized that in a dull night, we are drinking with Bro Sidro. I finished all four grapons of tuba until 3 o'clock when I'm going home. My husband is drinking coffee while nagahulat kanako. When I saw how scary coffee is! He's cheering, he's dancing, he's saying he's making noise, but he can't understand because his words can't be passed. While I am, just calm down, I entered the room, lay on the bed and without any reason, I was drowned in the clear. My husband is so handsome, he might be affected by the effect of his drinking.
That's it, I'm telling you, take a long time to drink coffee because it's going to be in your body!"

The Space Between Us

By. Penn T. Larena 7:25pm Sept. 17,2018

I feel super down my mind is not working

When I saw the place I feel sad.
My body feel savage, the ceiling is so dark,
My heart is like a deep of the ocean turn into dark blue.
The Faith will make me strong if u ask me right now

What would be my religion, I will tell u "I only Believe in one God.

Your love s like a mountain feel like a breeze that touches my soul.
Our love never changes and my pain in the night
But joy comes in the morning.

The wind is strong and the water's deep
I'm not alone in these open seas.

When I am sad and so afraid
Your love is like a firefly that will light my way
When darkness falls and my vision fades
Your love will fire that will light my world.

To know you and love you much more
It never stops or ever fades
Your love is like a firefly that will light my way.

History of the Somoza- Rubio Clan of Bais City

The Someza- Rubio Clan are generally regarded as a Spanish mestizo family, like so many of the Old Negros Oriental aristocracy.Started with patriarchal Jose Rodrigo Carmilo Rubio established Hacienda in San Isidero ,Katagachan, Manlipac, Panalaan ,Tanjay ,Tayasan and  la Liberated.Don Romualdo Somoza ,his brother and the Rubio sisters made a waves in the landmark in the Sugar Industry since 1865. It is said that if you are not from Negros you will find it difficult to understand the temperament of a Negrosanon. We have to face the fact that hacienda culture is dominant in Negros society. The “hacendados” and the “hacenderos” have always provided us a power image and influence in community building of Faith and Character.

Many of our sugarcane planters have considered their workers as the extended members of the family. The grandparents, parents and the children are still working in the hacienda until now. The “amo-obrero” relationship still lingers on. The sugar industry may not be in good shape now, but the sugarcane planters and the workers still cling to each other. Those who disagree with the hacienda system send their children to school and gradually find a greener pasture outside of the hacienda. The down to Somoza- Rubio Hermanos will continue to shape lives of the people in the sugar industry
