City of the dead,
The ancestral legacy will
someday ensue,
The Promised land will
soon beckon me to its gates
Befallen
With such a blackened
vision,
I let go of one very
meaning sigh
For there’s no telling
when,
For there’s no saying how,
For there ‘s no knowing
why
Never have I felt this
down to earth
The grass I ‘m stepping on
will turn the tables one day
As the tombstones are
stuck on the ground ,so will I
Crestfallen,
I settle into submission
And let out a breath of
acceptances
So be it ‘ I say
One last good look before
I head away
Emotions gone as grey as
the light of day
Death whispers its parting
words,
We shall meet again but
next time it will take forever
I smile ,only to say ‘I’m
glad I still have you them
